About the position

As a Production Manager at our milk facility in Tempe, AZ, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of milk processing operations. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a dedicated team of Supervisors and production associates, ensuring that every bottle of milk produced meets our stringent standards for freshness, purity, and taste. You will be at the forefront of our production efforts, coordinating with various departments to optimize production efficiency and maintain quality standards throughout the entire process. Your leadership will inspire your team to deliver excellence with every pour, making a significant impact in the dairy industry. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes. This includes monitoring and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards, as well as enforcing and promoting safety protocols. You will conduct regular safety training for production personnel to ensure a safe working environment. Additionally, you will be responsible for tracking and managing raw materials and finished goods inventory, coordinating with the supply chain to optimize stock levels, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Your expertise will also be critical in addressing and resolving production-related issues promptly, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations and standards set by OSHA, EPA, FDA, USDA, and HACCP. You will maintain accurate production records and reports, generating metrics for management to assess production performance. Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) in all production processes.
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Lead, supervise, and support production associates.
• Compose and deliver performance evaluations and corrective action notices.
• Train, monitor, and enforce quality control standards.
• Track, manage, and audit raw materials and finished goods inventory.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and propose scalable solutions.
• Enforce and promote safety protocols and conduct regular safety training.
• Effectively collaborate with site cross-functional partners.
• Train new production employees and provide ongoing training.
• Address and resolve production-related issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules for production equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and reports.

Requirements

• Two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a production environment.
• One (1) or more years of experience working with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Strong leadership background with the ability to direct a diverse unionized workforce.
• Ability to manage and develop employees.
• Strong skills in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
