About the position

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the sourcing and production of home soft goods, apparel, or textiles, primarily in Pakistan. This role is crucial for ensuring compliance with purchase order requirements and maintaining effective communication with overseas offices. The position offers a hybrid work schedule, requiring the individual to be based in New Jersey and to travel to manufacturing factories in Pakistan.

Responsibilities

  • Meeting with manufacturing factories and vendors in the region to ensure compliance with purchase order requirements
  • Regular communication with overseas offices to address any pre-production and production delivery issues
  • Managing and monitoring the time and action calendar to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Requesting and reviewing weekly work-in-progress reports from vendors to ensure adherence to ship dates
  • Providing regular updates to management regarding production and logistical issues
  • Reviewing pre-production, TOP, and final samples to ensure they align with approved specifications

Requirements

  • Experience in supply chain management, specifically in sourcing and production of textiles or home goods
  • Proven experience working with US retailers
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with overseas offices and vendors
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with production processes and compliance standards

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working in the textile industry in Pakistan
  • Knowledge of quality assurance processes
