About the position

Airosmith Engineering is seeking a full-time Structural Engineering Production Manager to oversee project engineers and manage structural engineering production activities. The role involves ensuring compliance with standards and customer requirements, employee training, and quality assurance of deliverables. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, self-motivation, and effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, coordinate, and budget all internal activities related to assigned structural projects.
• Define the scope of services for projects and identify out-of-scope items.
• Manage production staff, including engineers and administrators.
• Interact with project managers to meet client expectations within timelines.
• Act as the technical lead for production staff, providing training and final QA/QC of deliverables.
• Manage project activities to ensure alignment with client objectives regarding scope, schedule, and budget.
• Coordinate with third-party vendors and disciplines as required.
• Provide timelines and forecasts for structural engineering deliverables.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience providing telecom-related structural engineering services.
• Ability to function in a high-pressure, date-driven environment.
• Knowledge of scheduling and project management.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of tnxTower and RISA 3D.
• Problem-solving, issue management, independent thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited university.

Nice-to-haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 5 years of experience in civil engineering preferred.
