About the position

The Production Manager Trainee position at Mission Linen Supply is designed for high-potential individuals seeking to advance their careers in production and general management. This fast-track, nine-month program provides comprehensive training under experienced operations managers, preparing trainees to lead their own production facilities. Successful candidates will be expected to relocate within three years to manage teams, with opportunities for growth into higher management roles.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a nine-month training program to learn production management.
  • Work closely with experienced operations managers and plant teams.
  • Learn production workflow utilizing Lean Six Sigma techniques.
  • Understand and manage plant equipment, including boilers and hydraulics.
  • Implement production scoring methods and inventory control.
  • Engage in quality control initiatives and cost control measures.
  • Complete progress reports and participate in management development workshops.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree highly desired.
  • No prior experience required, but a willingness to learn is essential.
  • Military experience is welcomed.
  • Ability to relocate after completion of the program.
