About the position

PrideStaff is seeking a Production Manager for a global leader in the field of industrial CT and X-Ray Inspection Systems. This role is pivotal in managing a small, multi-functional team responsible for the integration, testing, and installation of sophisticated imaging and x-ray components. The Production Manager will oversee all assembly, integration, and installation activities for assigned projects, ensuring that operations run smoothly and efficiently. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, as the manager will need to handle conflicts, delays, and other issues that may arise during production. In addition to managing the production team, the Production Manager will be responsible for overseeing inventory, shipments, and the release of Bills of Materials (BOMs) for procurement. The role also involves reviewing the impact of pending engineering change requests on schedules and materials, identifying and validating new fabricators, and ensuring that all finished goods are properly dismantled, packed, and shipped. Maintaining a safe and clean operation that complies with OSHA standards is also a critical aspect of this position. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering or a related STEM field, with at least three years of operations experience and two years in a supervisory role. Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and mechanical design documents is essential, along with experience in MS Office and MRP/ERP systems.
