About the position

The Production Manager at Classic Collision is responsible for overseeing the workflow of vehicle repairs, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and within specified timelines. This role involves assigning work to technicians, providing daily supervision, and maintaining communication with the production staff to foster a supportive team environment. The Production Manager plays a crucial role in upholding the company's standards of safety, quality, and integrity in every vehicle repair.

Responsibilities

• Assign repair work to technicians and supervise the workflow to complete vehicle repairs within specific target dates.
• Provide daily supervision and direction to all production staff members.
• Dispatch all work assignments to production personnel according to ability.
• Ensure that all repairs are completed correctly and accurately the first time in adherence with industry and Classic Collision standards.
• Schedule all sublet work in a timely manner.
• Meet with each technician daily to discuss work assignments and schedules, creating a plan of accountability and time-driven completions for each stage of production.
• Hold daily team meetings.
• Maintain information within CCC1 to reflect vehicle status, ensuring information is always current and accurate.
• Monitor work quality and provide day-to-day feedback and coaching to technician staff, creating a team environment for both body and paint.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Experience in the auto repair industry or managing a team.
• Advanced understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures.
• Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under the company insurance policy.
• Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills are required.
• Organization and multi-tasking skills, good time management, and the ability to adapt easily to a fast-paced environment.
