The Production Manager plays a crucial role in the organization and management of a team of up to 20 operators, ensuring team productivity, safety, and compliance with H.B. Fuller's procedures and work instructions. This position is integral to manufacturing projects and the improvement of manufacturing processes and product quality in a fast-paced environment. The Production Manager will lead, oversee, and motivate the production team to maintain a high level of work and productivity, ensuring that production aligns with the established plans, procedures, and standards. The role also involves maximizing resource utilization, reducing operating times, increasing productivity, and minimizing quality nonconformities. In addition to these responsibilities, the Production Manager will be tasked with making employees aware of health and safety issues, coordinating maintenance activities, responding to technical questions from customers, and ensuring compliance with Quality & HSE policies. Flexibility in approach is essential, as the Production Manager may be required to undertake additional tasks as needed.
