About the position

The Production Manager at King's Hawaiian will oversee all activities related to the production line, ensuring safe, quality, and cost-effective production in alignment with the company's standards and values. This role involves leading a diverse team, fostering a culture of safety, and driving performance improvements across various metrics. The successful candidate will be a respected leader with strong problem-solving skills and an entrepreneurial mindset, capable of interacting with all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a high-performing operations team through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and providing accountability.
• Act as a Safety champion, promoting a safety-first culture and ensuring compliance with safety policies.
• Schedule production runs to meet business demand while maintaining quality standards.
• Own all production line metrics including safety, quality, productivity, and budget.
• Create and execute strategies to improve performance across all major metrics.
• Meet regularly with direct reports to provide feedback and coaching.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
• Cultivate trust and buy-in from the team by demonstrating ownership and urgency in business operations.
• Perform other duties as required within the scope of the role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited 4-year college or equivalent relevant experience.
• At least 10 years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing.
• Minimum 5 years of experience directly leading salaried and/or hourly team members.
• Proficiency with all MS Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

Nice-to-haves

• Engineering or Operations Management focus.
• Working knowledge of Autonomous Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance.
• Working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.
• Developing knowledge of SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud.
• Proficient with RedZone Productivity Suite.
• Proficient with Excel and/or Tableau for dashboard building.
