About the position

The Production Manager will oversee the production process in a manufacturing environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining efficient operations. This role involves supporting supervisors, interpreting safety policies, and continuously improving productivity based on customer needs and operational data.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and enforce all safety policies and practices to employees
• Interpret data to continuously improve productivity
• Understand and communicate customer needs to employees to ensure expectations are met
• Communicate with Supervisor and Operators to ensure knowledge is shared from shift to shift
• Identify equipment, ingredients, and packaging issues
• Coordinate with other departments to help solve issues
• Maintain area in accordance with all sanitation regulations
• Provide coaching and counseling, conflict resolution, and training programs for employees
• Ensure areas are in compliance with 5S requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 5+ years manufacturing experience
• 2-3 years supervisor experience
• Continuous improvement experience strongly preferred
• Lean experience strongly preferred
