About the position

LBU Inc. is seeking a Production Manager to oversee and manage the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met. The role involves developing production schedules, monitoring output, collaborating with teams, and training staff, all while maintaining inventory levels and coordinating with procurement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the production process, ensuring efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Develop and implement production schedules and workflows to optimize productivity.
• Monitor production output and adjust schedules as needed to meet customer demands.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate production activities and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Train and supervise production staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery, coordinating repairs or maintenance as necessary.
• Manage scheduling of raw materials and trim pick up & truck schedule.
• Maintain the weekly schedule with minute-to-minute updates of orders from time of approval up until ready to ship.
• Coordinate with Purchasing department for all trim & material requirements relating to orders.
• Send emails with requirements for all supplies for screen print department.
• Create production-related purchase orders for all vendors directly related to line of production, embroidery, screen print, cutting, sewing, sublimation etc.
• Assist and provide the VP of Operations with all information they may need with regards to production.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years of Production experience (Fashion or Apparel Preferred)
• Bi-lingual is a major plus (English & Spanish)
• Must be proactive and possess the ability to meet deadlines (Fast Paced Environment)
• Proficiency in MS OFFICE - Word, Outlook and Excel (v-look up, queries, pivot tables)
• Strong follow-up skills
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, preferably in a production management role
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
