About the position

The Production Manager plays a critical role in overseeing the manufacturing processes within our facility. This position is responsible for ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely while maintaining high-quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing and mechanical knowledge, with hands-on experience in assembly processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met.
• Coordinate with various departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.
• Train and mentor production staff on best practices, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Monitor inventory levels of materials and supplies needed for production.
• Implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and forklifts as necessary to support production activities.
• Oversee operations, ensuring all products are assembled correctly and meet specifications.

Requirements

• Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Experience working in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is essential.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations, including inventory management and logistics.
• Ability to assemble components accurately and efficiently on an assembly line.
• Knowledge of fabrication techniques and processes is a plus.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
