About the position

The Production Manager at Savers/Value Village is responsible for overseeing the production process and leading the team to ensure efficient operations in accordance with company policies and regulations. This role involves managing both the production room and sales floor, ensuring that the store meets financial targets and provides a positive customer experience. The Production Manager will also focus on team development, quality control, and loss prevention while promoting a values-driven workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the overall production process and team leadership.
• Ensure store performance meets financial targets and key metrics.
• Lead, direct, and supervise the work of supervisors and production team members.
• Plan staffing needs and coordinate recruitment, selection, and training.
• Monitor and set the pace of work while ensuring a positive customer/donor experience.
• Oversee quality control checks throughout all production stages.
• Manage item put out condition and volume, production margin, and seasonal back stock.
• Protect company assets and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary degree/diploma preferred.
• Results-driven retail store management or industrial management experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
