About the position

Carolina Basement Systems is seeking a dedicated Production Manager to oversee the daily operations of the Production department. This role involves leading and motivating the team, ensuring quality and safety standards are met on job sites, and managing various administrative tasks related to production. The Production Manager will also play a key role in hiring, training, and resolving customer issues, all while fostering a positive work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manages the day-to-day operations of the Production department staff.
• Serves as a leader, motivator, and resource for the Production department.
• Assists with interviewing and hiring Production employees.
• Communicates regularly with staff members through individual and group meetings.
• Encourages effective and efficient crew communications.
• Regularly visits job sites to ensure jobs are installed according to quality and safety standards.
• Sets performance outcomes and evaluates performance, encouraging continuous improvement.
• Responsible for monitoring Production-related paperwork, including payroll and bonuses, crew paperwork, and attendance records.
• Assists with customer complaints and problems by resolving issues.
• Conducts frequent on-the-job and classroom trainings.
• Assists sales department and other employees with technical aspects of system installations.

Requirements

• Previous experience in waterproofing, crawl spaces, and/or foundations required.
• Proven leadership experience required.
• Outstanding communication skills.

• Ability to oversee multiple projects at once.
• Time management skills, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.

• A high school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
• A valid driver's license required.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in basement waterproofing (2 years preferred).
• Experience in crawl space management (2 years preferred).
• Experience in foundation management (2 years preferred).
• Management experience (2 years preferred).
