About the position

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Production Manager to oversee our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory settings, with expertise in fabrication and assembly processes. This role requires excellent mechanical knowledge, as well as proficiency in using power and hand tools. The Production Manager will be responsible for ensuring that production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality and safety within the manufacturing facility.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily production activities within the manufacturing facility to ensure efficient operations.
• Oversee the assembly line processes, ensuring that products are fabricated according to specifications.
• Coordinate with various departments to optimize workflow and resolve any production issues.
• Train and supervise production staff on best practices for using power tools, hand tools, and equipment.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor production metrics and prepare reports on performance, quality, and efficiency.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and machinery to ensure proper functioning and maintenance.
• Collaborate with warehouse teams to manage inventory levels and facilitate timely deliveries.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a manufacturing or factory environment, preferably in a supervisory or management role.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
• Proficiency in operating power tools, hand tools, and forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Familiarity with assembly line processes and warehouse operations is highly desirable.
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration across departments.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
