About the position

The Production Manager at Savers/Value Village is responsible for overseeing the production process and leading the team to ensure efficient operations in accordance with company policies and regulations. This role involves managing both the production room and sales floor, ensuring that the store meets financial targets and provides a positive customer experience. The Production Manager will also focus on team development, quality control, and loss prevention while promoting a values-driven workplace.

Responsibilities

• Manage and direct the overall production process and team leadership.
• Ensure store performance meets financial targets and key metrics.
• Monitor and set the pace of work for the production team.
• Inspect sales floor for shop-ability and customer experience.
• Lead, direct, and supervise the work of supervisors and production team members.
• Plan staffing needs and coordinate recruitment, selection, and training.
• Provide coaching and feedback to team members and supervisors.
• Receive and respond to customer/donor questions and complaints.
• Manage item put out condition and volume, ensuring all sellable items are available.
• Oversee quality control checks throughout all production stages.
• Promote loss prevention awareness and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED; post-secondary degree/diploma preferred.
• Results-driven retail store management or industrial management experience.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
