About the position
The Production Manager at Rodgers Wade is responsible for overseeing the 2nd Shift Mill and Shop operations. This role involves managing teams, ensuring productivity, and maintaining quality and safety standards in a busy manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in process improvement and team management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all 2nd shift employees in the Mill and Shop and assign daily work duties.
- Manage intercompany communication with HR and Safety regarding PTO, safety training, and employee benefit changes.
- Ensure work rules are observed and that the crew starts and finishes on time.
- Maintain proper staffing levels and ensure standards of workmanship and maximum productivity are met.
- Maintain output levels to support the production schedule.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.
- Three to five years of related experience and/or training.

- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
