About the position

The Production Manager at AppleOne is responsible for revamping production processes, managing daily operations, and driving the success of the Production Department. This role involves strategic planning in collaboration with the CEO, overseeing a skilled team, and ensuring efficient, safe, and timely manufacturing of products.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the CEO to set departmental goals, optimize workflows, and enhance technology utilization.
• Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring timely product shipping by managing people, capacity, materials, and schedules.
• Implement process enhancements and cost-saving initiatives, with a strong commitment to safety.
• Recruit, train, and evaluate production staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
• Develop KPIs, implement SOPs, and monitor production metrics to meet delivery, quality, and staffing targets.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Photography, and other departments to meet customer satisfaction and internal goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in a manufacturing and printing production environment, with progressive leadership experience.
• Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills; experience in Lean Principles (Green Belt Certification required).
• Understanding of printing processes, equipment, and quality standards to oversee production effectively.
