About the position

The Production Manager at POM Wonderful is responsible for overseeing all activities related to the Buttonwillow Juice and/or Arils Operations. This role involves collaborating with production supervisors, maintenance, and quality personnel to plan work, set targets, and ensure that the finished products meet quality standards. The Production Manager will develop and maintain business plans for manufacturing operations, manage employee teams, establish production and quality control standards, and coordinate manufacturing activities across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain manufacturing operations business plans including program requirements, labor hours, cycle, and production costs.
• Plan and manage hourly employee teams and seasonal employees for optimal cost of production.
• Establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and obtain data regarding product orders.
• Provide guidance for the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel, material, subcontract, facility, and tooling needs.
• Ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
• Coordinate manufacturing activities with other functions and suppliers to optimize production and resource utilization.
• Review production and operating reports and resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems.
• Perform administrative activities associated with effective management of shop operations, including compiling and storing production data.
• Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to achieve business objectives.
• Train and ensure compliance of all assigned employees with company, government, and customer policies.

Requirements

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle software.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
