About the position

The Ziegenfelder Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the manufacturing staff and ensuring efficient production processes. This role involves planning, monitoring, and appraising job results, as well as coaching and developing team members. The manager coordinates materials, maintenance, and staffing to meet production goals while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate job expectations and appraise job results for manufacturing staff.
  • Plan, monitor, and enhance training for production teams.
  • Coordinate materials, maintenance, changeovers, and staffing on production lines.
  • Monitor quality data and collaborate with the Quality Tribe to ensure product quality.
  • Coordinate preventive and corrective procedures with Maintenance Tribe to maintain production efficiency.
  • Work with COO to develop leadership skills in Operations and Warehouse Supervisors.
  • Drive accountability for production training and development for all plant employees.
  • Support a culture of continuous learning and development.
  • Investigate safety incidents and ensure proper reporting and documentation.
  • Coordinate with People & Culture Tribe for staffing, personnel issues, and performance engagement.

Requirements

  • Experience in leadership and team management.
  • Strong communication skills.

  • Knowledge of quality control and safety standards.
  • Experience in training and development of staff.
