About the position

The Production Manager at OX Floors is responsible for overseeing the scheduling of installation jobs and service calls, managing inventory control, and ensuring a high-quality output from the production team. This role is crucial in supporting the company's operations in installing Polyaspartic floor coatings primarily in residential homes and smaller businesses. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Schedule employees, jobs, and service calls according to production needs
• Maintain good employee relationships and promote teamwork in the department
• Manage daily output from a quality and quantity standpoint to satisfy customer orders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and practices
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times
• Seek and implement continuous improvements and encourage the team to leverage new digital tools and ways of working
• Demonstrate strong customer focus
• Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by management

Requirements

• Proven work experience using a computer scheduling program to schedule jobs and installers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and complete workflow as instructed by management
• Must be very organized with the ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision
• Must be able to sit, stand, lift up to 40 lbs
• Proficient with email, computers, and database management tools
• Top-notch verbal, organizational, interpersonal skills, and active listening skills
• Quick learner
• Exemplify a trusting relationship with teammates
• Experienced using scheduling and inventory software
