About the position

The Production Manager will lead the production team in a manufacturing environment, focusing on process improvement and operational excellence. This role involves collaborating with the CEO to set strategic goals, enhance workflows, and leverage technology to optimize production processes. The manager will be responsible for ensuring safety, quality standards, and employee development while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the production team to meet tight deadlines, ensure safety, and maintain quality standards.
  • Oversee day-to-day manufacturing operations, including managing staff and troubleshooting equipment.
  • Create and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across the production floor.
  • Support employee growth through training, evaluations, and cross-departmental collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing or packaging environments.
  • Strong background in production management and process improvement.
  • Green Belt certification in Lean principles is required.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
