About the position

The Production Manager at Aquatic Bath is responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations at the Lancaster facility. This role focuses on leading production activities while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across departments. The manager will supervise staff, maintain production goals, and collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations, contributing to the company's commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage production activities, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, and productivity goals.
• Lead, mentor, and develop off-shift personnel, providing training and performance feedback.
• Ensure that machinery and equipment are maintained and operating efficiently in collaboration with the Maintenance Department.
• Monitor production schedules, adjust staffing, and manage workflow to meet production targets and minimize downtime.
• Implement process-oriented improvements to drive operational efficiency, reduce waste, and achieve cost savings.
• Troubleshoot production challenges by working with the Plant Manager, Maintenance, and Quality teams.
• Oversee compliance with company policies and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
• Monitor inventory and ensure materials and supplies are available for production needs.
• Prepare and deliver daily production reports to the Plant Manager and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of manufacturing management experience in a high-volume production environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Strong process-oriented mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced environment, particularly on 2nd shift.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with experience handling complex production challenges.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience in bathware manufacturing or a related industry is a plus.
• Flexibility to work on 2nd shift and overtime as needed.
