Job Summary: We are looking for a dynamic Production Manager to join our team in St. Petersburg, FL. The Production Manager is responsible for all production for Rogers Cleaners and FRSTeam by Rogers. All output by drycleaning, laundry, and IAB should be continuously monitored, evaluated, and upgraded. The ideal candidate will have great understanding of necessary skills pertinent to the management of contents production. Ability to work with, and coordinate workflow with managers of other RSG divisions, excellent communication, organizational, and management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Screen applicants.
  • Conduct annual performance evaluations of personnel.
  • Train new employees on following company processes.
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures for Production Employees.
  • Work closely with other FRSTeam Managers to resolve any workflow or quality issues.
  • Generate reports, weekly employee work schedules and daily work inventory.
  • Conduct weekly staff meeting to address and promote new production techniques, reinforce policies and procedures, and other related issues at hand.
  • Coordinate employee resignation and/or dismissal and process necessary paperwork.
  • Monitor the overall appearance of the Production facility.
  • Keep work area clean daily.
  • Clean plant as instructed.
  • Follow instructions.
  • Responds to requests for assistance.
  • Follow company policies.
  • Informs supervisor or manager of any problems or questions.
  • Demonstrates awareness of and adheres to safety and legal requirements established by management as outlined in the employee handbook and immediately inform supervisor of problems.
  • Demonstrates awareness of self-learning needs and seeks ways to meet these in order to maintain current competency and respond to new job demands.
  • Ability to talk and hear within speaking distance.
  • Ability to see sufficiently to read and write.
  • Physical ability to sit, stand and walk for long periods of time.
  • Ability to bend, reach above shoulder level, twist, turn and kneel.
  • Ability to push/pull/lift to 40 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity sufficient to work with cleaning equipment.
  • Coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Accurately complete detailed forms and reports.
  • Calculate figures and amounts.
  • Other duties or projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a production management role, preferably in a dry cleaning or similar industry.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations.
  • Proficient in inventory management and cost control.
  • Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
  • 3 - 5 years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • High School degree or GED required.
  • Associate Degree in Management, Public Relations or Communication preferred.
