About the position

Cintas is seeking a Production Manager who will be responsible for creating a high-performing operational environment with a team that is focused, motivated, and inspired to achieve team objectives. The Rental Production Manager will oversee all plant operations in a location, ensuring on-time delivery of products that exceed customer expectations, service, and quality standards. This role is crucial in positioning Cintas as the leader and best in the industry. The Production Manager will be accountable for developing a high-performing team and will actively work with the Sales and Service teams to conduct plant tours, set appropriate expectations, and resolve quality issues to ensure Cintas is positioned to grow and retain business. In addition to customer experience, the Production Manager will create an environment that allows Cintas to sustain a highly motivated, engaged, and diverse workforce where partners feel supported and want to do their best work. Safety and risk management are also key responsibilities, as the manager will create, promote, and sustain a culture of world-class safety, ensuring compliance with internal corporate audit requirements and all corporate policies. The manager will engage partners in safety and ergonomic improvements, participate in monthly Safety Improvement Committee meetings, and lead by example in safety and health. Effective communication is essential in this role. The Production Manager will collaborate with the General Manager and other department leaders to ensure the production team is working toward shared location goals and achieving key performance indicators. Developing personal relationships with key stakeholders will be necessary to provide them with the necessary resources to service and exceed customer expectations. The manager will maintain positive lines of communication with the location Service team, Branch leadership, and SSRs through effective execution of key initiatives and programs, including participation in service meetings and quarterly Branch visits.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sustain a culture of world-class safety within the production department.
• Ensure compliance with internal corporate audit requirements and all corporate policies.
• Implement and maintain all aspects of the safety scorecard and the fatality prevention program.
• Engage partners in safety and ergonomic improvements to help eliminate injuries.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and other department leaders to achieve shared location goals.
• Develop personal relationships with key stakeholders to provide necessary resources for customer service.
• Maintain positive communication with the location Service team, Branch leadership, and SSRs.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Ability to work multiple shifts with variable schedules.
• Qualified candidates must meet all requirements outlined by the Department of Transportation (DOT) for driving a regulated vehicle weighing more than 10,000 lbs.
• Must have an active driver's license and be at least 21 years of age.
• Obtain a DOT medical certification and provide documentation regarding previous employment.
• Minimum two years supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Two years industry experience preferred.
