About the position

As a Production Manager, you will oversee the crew members and leaders that support our clients with their landscape maintenance needs. You will be responsible for driving safety, quality, production, and efficiency among your team. Here's an overview of what you can expect to do while working here: Driving safety culture across your production team through continuous training and leading by example. Building strong relationships with your internal and external clients. Partnering with your Account Manager to understand client expectations and communicating those expectations to your production team. Managing all the logistical aspects of production management to include your team, equipment, and materials. Ensuring that all the properties within your portfolio meet Down to Earth quality standards. Monitoring and troubleshooting a variety of landscape items to include pest control, irrigation and plant material. Assigning and scheduling tasks and routes for your production team. Ensuring that time keeping records are submitted in an accurate and timely manner. Counseling and developing members within your production team. Providing hands-on training for your new and tenured team members to ensure they are set up for success. Interviewing, selecting, and helping to onboard new team members and ensure each new team member has an excellent onboarding experience. Performing other duties as assigned by the leadership team.

Responsibilities

  • Interview, select, and onboard new team members.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of commercial landscape experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of crew management experience.
  • HS Diploma or GED equivalent; Associates Degree preferred.
  • Proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid Florida Driver's License and ability to pass an MVR check.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
