About the position

The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a manufacturing plant, managing a team of supervisors and production workers. This role involves planning production schedules, setting productivity goals, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards in the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Manages and directs all production phases of plant operation through staff members.
• Manage and plan the production schedule and update management on its progress.
• Provide management with updates on ongoing projects and possible threats to work order fulfillment schedules.
• In charge of creating and carrying out strategic plans to achieve the goals, as well as reviewing the results on a monthly and annual basis.
• Assures that all work is done safely and that all production processes at the plant run smoothly.
• Assures that all governmental regulatory standards are met.
• Verifies that every product manufactured at the facility and delivered to clients satisfies quality standards and client specifications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Proven work experience as a Production Manager.
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles.
• Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field or a minimum of 10 years of experience in the industry.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with pipe and tube production.
