Volt is immediately hiring for a Production Manager in Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of production management, ensuring that safety protocols are adhered to, and facilitating effective communication among team members. You will conduct weekly safety meetings to engage all attendees and ensure that the meetings are productive. Collaboration with Project Managers and Foremen will be essential to address daily project needs and to review Project Management Software and daily reports to identify recurring issues. When issues are identified, you will work with team members to create processes that resolve these issues both immediately and on an ongoing basis. You will also be responsible for reviewing project forecasts and schedules to maintain awareness of workload and anticipate any needs for additional labor or job applications. Engaging with the installation team in the field will be crucial to address challenges, safety issues, and to consult with customers while managing staff effectively. Timely communication is key, as you will need to respond to all communications within twenty-four hours, whether they come via email, chat, or phone. Conflict resolution will be a significant part of your role, requiring clear communication to address concerns from clients and employees swiftly. You will work closely with the warehouse team to maintain schedules for the maintenance of the vehicle fleet and shop equipment, monitor inventory, and ensure quality control on-site weekly. Additionally, you will prepare and submit invoicing on a weekly basis and maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and various professional organizations. As part of your responsibilities, you will assist in developing and monitoring the company's safety policies and procedures, post job openings, schedule interviews, and implement training schedules for new hires. You will also create and maintain a training system for continued learning among staff, and conduct one-on-one meetings with new hires at 30, 60, and 90 days to ensure their successful integration into the company.
