Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the production and manufacturing departments, ensuring consistent and efficient production of cannabis products.
• Oversee the quality assurance process to ensure products meet company standards and regulatory requirements for potency, safety, and consistency.
• Monitor and control inventory levels of materials and finished products, ensuring adequate stock to meet production needs without overstocking or waste.
• Identify and implement improvements to production workflows, resource allocation, and cost-saving strategies while maintaining product quality.
• Maintain detailed records of production activities, including harvest reports, processing data, and yield analysis.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on production status and potential issues.
• Enforce safe working practices and cleanliness standards to ensure a safe, efficient, and compliant working environment.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in cannabis production, cultivation management, or a related field.
• Previous experience managing production teams in the cannabis industry is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cannabis cultivation, processing, and extraction methods.
• Knowledge of state and local cannabis regulations is essential.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive work environment while ensuring production targets are met.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
