About the position

CIS Secure is seeking a Production Manager who will play a crucial role in managing production employees and ensuring the delivery of high-quality products on schedule. This position involves leading efforts for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and directly impacting the success of the business. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-focused culture and be hands-on in the production process.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly production planning activities for products.
  • Develop and maintain production planning processes and documentation to align with revenue schedules.
  • Conduct weekly reviews with various departments on part shortages and challenges to meeting production schedules.
  • Coordinate production workflow for multiple products.
  • Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay.
  • Determine necessary headcount, equipment, and raw materials for production demand.
  • Monitor jobs to ensure timely completion within budget.
  • Obtain output information and maintain organized supporting documentation.
  • Present and report progress and performance to KPIs monthly.
  • Communicate objectives and deliverables to team members and stakeholders; escalate issues as needed.
  • Manage day-to-day and annual performance communication for team members.
  • Oversee employee relations and corrective action processes in coordination with HR.
  • Manage and schedule employee training throughout the year.
  • Review and implement operations and plans to meet requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Five or more years managing production with at least three years of manufacturing planning experience.
  • Strong Lean manufacturing experience.
  • Familiarity with Stage Gate methodologies.
  • Knowledge of ERP software and MS Office suite.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong supervisory skills and ability to coach employees.

  • Experience with complex product testing and management.
  • Ability to read and interpret scientific and technical documents.
