About the position

The Production Manager at Clemons Sales Corp. is responsible for leading manufacturing operations in a dynamic environment focused on crafting high-quality irrigation equipment. This role requires a strong background in production management, process optimization, and quality assurance, ensuring that production teams meet targets while adhering to safety standards and implementing efficient methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage production teams (welding, assembly, shipping) to meet daily and weekly production targets.
• Supervise the use of production equipment, including forklifts, band saws, plasma cutters, welders, hydraulic presses, and shrink-wrapping machines.
• Implement and maintain production methodologies such as one-piece flow, 5S, and Kanban to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards throughout the production process.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate materials, schedules, and shipments.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and develop strategies for operational efficiency.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to promote skill development and job safety.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in production management, preferably in a metal manufacturing or fabrication environment.
• Proficiency in production methodologies like one-piece flow, 5S, and Kanban.
• Strong knowledge of equipment and tools used in metal manufacturing.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
