About the position
Butterball, LLC, one of America's most iconic brands, is seeking a Production Associate to join our team in Goldsboro, NC. This full-time position offers a competitive pay rate of $16.25 per hour and operates on a day shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM. The Production Associate will be responsible for performing a variety of production-focused tasks on a rotated basis to support daily production goals. The primary focus will be on weighing boxes and filling combo bins. This role requires adherence to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized work area, and maintaining punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to communicate effectively while following verbal and written instructions. Working conditions may include a damp and cold environment, exposure to loud machinery, and working with chemicals or pungent odors. Physical requirements include standing for 8-10 hours per day, lifting up to 50 lbs, and performing repetitive hand-intensive tasks. No minimum education or previous work experience is required, but candidates must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States. Responsibilities
- Process product using tools and equipment provided
- Follow all work safety policies and guidelines
- Observe equipment operation, notifying appropriate personnel of any malfunctions and/or safety issues/concerns
- Adhere to all USDA and GMP (Good Manufacturing Processes) product standards and guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Rotate to various functions within the processing department
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Maintain punctual and regular attendance for scheduled work hours
