Responsibilities

  • Effectively and safely operate standard maintenance tools such as power tools and basic electrical testing equipment.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, including Annual PM's.
  • Read and understand mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Complete minor troubleshooting of mechanical and electrical issues without direct supervision.
  • Follow prescribed safety rules and departmental policies.
  • Locate sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation and using precision measuring instruments.
  • Perform maintenance tasks and identify follow-up work required.
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to resolve problems as needed.
  • Maintain process and industry standards and specifications for safety, health, and environment.
  • Understand and certify in Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
  • Acquire planned materials, tools, and documentation for planned work.
  • Investigate job sites to determine the scope of reactive work.
  • Complete closeout activities including tool accountability and parts reconciliation.
  • Effectively communicate daily pass-downs regarding issues and actions.

Requirements

  • Must be willing to work weekends.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without Visa Sponsorship.
  • Must be 18 years or older.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Work history in the past 12 months.
  • Strong understanding of basic hand tools and mechanical systems, including troubleshooting and repair capabilities.
  • Possession of or ability to obtain a driver's license.
