About the position

The Production Operations Manager at Real Simple Ideas is responsible for overseeing daily operations at production and field locations, ensuring exceptional customer service and performance. This role involves managing production and packaging operations, hiring, performance evaluations, and developing high-functioning teams to meet the unique needs of clients in the theme park and entertainment sectors.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Production Printing, Packaging, and AM Replenishment Teams.
• Creating and publishing department schedules, adjusting to meet labor budgets and business needs.
• Working with Field Operations Manager to cover general leadership requirements of the business.
• Management of new product launches and end dates.
• Production reporting and efficiency improvement efforts.
• Assist in helping with all areas as needed, including printing, packaging, replenishment, and warehouse.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of operations and production management experience.
• Strong positive leadership and management skills.
• Proven history of process improvement and organizational skills.
• 1+ years of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator experience.
• 1+ years of large-format printing experience.
• 1+ years of training experience.
• 1+ years of scheduling/hiring experience.
• 1+ years of inventory control/replenishment or relevant experience.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain a positive attitude under tight deadlines.
• History of participatory leadership with a willingness to learn all aspects of operations.
• Effective written and oral communication skills.
• General knowledge of digital and offset printing processes and standards.
