About the position
The Production Operator - AOI is responsible for operating automated optical inspection equipment to ensure the quality of printed circuit boards (PCBs) during the manufacturing process. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of TTM Technologies, a leading global manufacturer in the technology solutions sector.
Responsibilities
- Operate automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment to inspect printed circuit boards (PCBs).
- Ensure quality control by identifying defects and ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of AOI equipment.
- Document inspection results and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and quality standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in electronics or PCB production.
- Familiarity with automated inspection equipment and quality control processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with IPC standards for PCB manufacturing.
- Knowledge of ITAR regulations and export control policies.
