The Production Operator - Chemical Formulation Focus role at Tri-Rinse involves safely and accurately formulating agricultural chemical products, such as herbicides, fungicides, and insecticides. The position requires adherence to safety, health, and environmental guidelines while executing production processes according to Standard Operating Procedures. The role also includes responsibilities in recycling containers and packaging products during off-peak formulation seasons, contributing to a culture of collaboration and innovation within the company.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately formulate agricultural chemical products according to Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental requirements and objectives.
• Use automated software for inventory management and fleet tracking to ensure quality of input.
• Stage and dispense raw materials using appropriate hoses, pumps, meters, scales, and material handling equipment.
• Read and interpret batch sheets to accurately mix raw materials using the proper equipment.
• Transfer finished product into drums, totes, tanks, and filling equipment.
• Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment to transport raw materials and finished goods.
• Adhere to production schedules and consistently meet assigned metrics.
• Maintain a clean work area and equipment at all times.
• Conduct periodic quality checks and diagnose common equipment/product issues.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
• At least 2 years of previous formulation experience.
• Basic mathematical skills and attention to detail.
• Effective collaboration and problem-solving skills.
