About the position

The Production Operator at Bentec Medical LLC is responsible for operating silicone molding and milling equipment to fabricate parts for OEM customers and Bentec medical devices. This role involves ensuring compliance with FDA, GMP, and QSR requirements while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. The operator will work primarily in a cleanroom setting and is expected to follow specific cleaning practices and operational procedures.

Responsibilities

• Cleans working area, including floors, countertops, and tools, prior to production using approved cleaning agents.
• Verifies line clearance to avoid contamination and spoilage.
• Obtains milled materials from approved storage areas as per the router.
• Records material lot numbers used on the router.
• Weighs, cuts, and loads material into mold cavities or casting trays.
• Operates equipment according to set-up sheets and process parameters defined by the Lead Person.
• Provides first article samples to quality control for verification of proper set-up and specifications.
• Assists Lead Person in mold and equipment set-up changes.
• Documents productivity and quality results on device history records.
