About the position

The Production Operator - DES role at TTM Technologies involves operating and maintaining equipment on the Develop Etch Strip lines, ensuring quality production while adhering to safety protocols. The position requires effective communication with supervisors and cross-training in various operations to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

  • Feed and catch cores on the Develop Etch Strip lines.
  • Measure line width and spacing to customer requirements.
  • Communicate regularly with supervisors and managers about safety hazards and issues.
  • Mix chemistry and maintain equipment according to PM schedule.
  • Set up and operate cut sheet laminators and punch tooling press.
  • Print internal images of circuit board cores using artwork and laser direct imaging.
  • Set up and operate automatic and LDI imagers.
  • Monitor and maintain quality production and record quality data.
  • Assist in meeting safety and production goals.
  • Read and understand blueprints, artwork, and panel identification.
  • Cross-train on operations within the area.
  • Work with other departments on job improvements.
  • Facilitate and attend meetings, suggesting procedural changes.
  • Generate, accumulate, and handle hazardous wastes as directed.
  • Report all accidents, near misses, and safety concerns.
  • Utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE) during job duties.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Good English communication skills and mathematical skills.
  • Good reading vision, color discrimination, and depth perception.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks and work as a team player.
  • Flexibility to adapt to a changing environment and work up to 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, leaning, sitting, and standing for an entire shift.
  • Ability to safely work with chemical, physical, or biological agents.
  • Regular attendance is an essential job function.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or a Permanent Resident due to ITAR requirements.
