About the position
The Production Operator position at Niagara Bottling is a full-time role responsible for overseeing daily operations on the production floor. The operator ensures that production meets established safety, quality, and throughput goals while adhering to legal and food safety requirements. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the company's mission of providing high-quality bottled water.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara's standard of safety, quality, and throughput.
- Accurately completes applicable quality and production reports hourly.
- Conduct physical and visual inspections of products to prevent non-conforming goods.
- Report all quality defects to the appropriate team members and shift leadership.
- Adhere to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
- Abide by Niagara's Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards at all times.
- Maintain general housekeeping in all areas of production and additional areas assigned by plant leadership.
- Maintain appropriate level of raw materials to ensure minimal downtime on production lines.
- Demonstrate the aptitude and skill to work in all assigned areas of production; troubleshoot minor production line issues and perform relief duties when required.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
