About the position

As a Production Operator at TE Connectivity, you will be responsible for operating automated assembly machinery, ensuring component flow, and troubleshooting machinery issues to maintain quality and productivity. This role involves preparing machines for daily use, performing changeovers, conducting quality checks, and maintaining a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Preparing machines and equipment for daily use
• Performing changeover and set-up functions
• Communicating with technician and supervisor any issues that may arise during operations
• Using inspection tools and completing quality inspection documentation
• Working with the team to troubleshoot assembly and flow issues
• Performing quality work checks to ensure products meet quality standards
• Identifying product defects and completing appropriate documentation when defects are identified

Requirements

• Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with set-up operations and handling change-over responsibilities
• Ability to troubleshoot assembly machines or equipment
• Proficient with inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators
• Proven record of using inspection data to make mechanical and program changes
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow blueprints and engineering drawings
• Basic computer navigation and utilization skills
• Ability to read and write English
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
