About the position
The position involves operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets. The role requires collaboration with various teams to ensure quality and efficiency in the manufacturing process, particularly during the 2nd shift from 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM, Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate molding equipment by accurately following documented procedures while maintaining cleanliness and adhering to 5S standards.
- Effectively communicate problems to Quality Control (QC) and other technical resources to ensure quality parts are produced.
- Follow good documentation practices, including filling out forms for product traceability.
- Perform computer entries using Factivity software to manage part production, real-time labor, job tracking, and machine monitoring.
- Complete other tasks as assigned by supervisors and leads.
Requirements
- Ability to operate manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication skills to report issues to QC and technical teams.
- Familiarity with documentation practices for product traceability.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and job tracking.
