About the position
The Oxide Operator at TTM Technologies is responsible for operating machinery that applies bond enhancement to cores before lamination. This role is crucial in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the manufacturing process for printed circuit boards (PCBs). The operator will follow specific procedures, complete documentation, and perform quality checks to maintain high standards in production.
Responsibilities
- Operate equipment that applies a bond enhancement material to prepare cores for lamination
- Add and remove leadering material to cores as needed
- Read and interpret travelers to verify all previous operations were completed
- Follow all departmental process procedures correctly
- Complete all departmental documentation accurately
- Complete quality checks when product arrives in and exits the department
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management and cross-train as needed to assist production
Requirements
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
- Ability to stand for the duration of shift
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, customer specifications, and procedures
- Basic math, problem solving, interpersonal skills, and computer skills
- Must possess interpersonal, problem solving, and communication skills
- Follow all safety measures
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous manufacturing experience preferred
- Previous PCB experience preferred
