About the position

The Assembly Producer is responsible for operating machinery and assembling parts to create complete units or subassemblies. This role involves maintaining accurate daily paperwork related to the assembly process and ensuring a high-quality output while adhering to safety and organizational standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate a press or assemble parts to form complete units or subassemblies.
• Complete and maintain all daily paperwork associated with the assembly process.
• Rotate and attain proficiency at various work stations.
• Read gauges and record findings accurately.
• Measure sizes of parts in millimeters.
• Use a computer, especially SAP, OEE, and label programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment according to 5S standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate all machinery.
• Work designated shifts and maintain excellent attendance.
• Collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred.
• 12 months of related experience required.
• Fluency in English, with the ability to read and write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to use a hand-held calculator for basic arithmetic operations.
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
