About the position

Gia-Pacific Gypsum is looking for motivated and safety-oriented individuals to join their team as Production Operators at the Newington, NH facility. This role is essential in supporting the operations team in the continuous manufacturing of wallboard products. The position offers hands-on work that directly impacts the company and community, emphasizing safety, quality production, and ongoing learning opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment to defined standards and product specification targets
• Monitor and/or enter data into computer control systems
• Troubleshoot equipment to optimize production
• Perform basic asset care duties including routine preventative maintenance and cleaning of the work area
• Work as a team to meet or exceed production, waste, quality, and safety goals
• Operate and/or work around mobile equipment such as forklifts and heavy equipment
• Maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing, and/or pulling for up to twelve hours a day in a loud, noisy, industrial environment

Requirements

• Experience in a manufacturing, agricultural, warehouse, or military environment, or completion of post-high school education in manufacturing/industrial, or at least 1 year of work experience

Nice-to-haves

• Experience using a computer, tablet, or smart device
• Experience troubleshooting equipment in a manufacturing setting
• Experience operating a heavy load forklift
