About the position

The Production Order Management Coordinator at Lufthansa Technik Component Services is responsible for managing and coordinating production orders related to aircraft component services. This role involves evaluating and making decisions on Dynamic-Beyond Economic Repair (dynBER) and Beyond Economic Repair (BER) events, as well as modifications, in collaboration with engineering teams. The coordinator will utilize SAP and other IT systems to ensure efficient processing and expedite repair orders while maintaining high standards of communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and make decisions regarding dynBER/BER for Lufthansa Technik events in collaboration with Component and Production Engineering.
  • Evaluate and make decisions regarding Modifications for LHT events in collaboration with Component and Production Engineering.
  • Build up know-how and standards regarding dynBER/BER/modifications in collaboration with Component and Production Engineering.
  • Expedite repair orders and act as an 'expedite desk' for repairs.
  • Resolve clarifications raised by internal and external counterparties.
  • Comply with specific working time requirements to cover different time zones.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned or required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED desirable.
  • College degree/vocational training desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree desirable.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in material purchasing and/or aviation industry required.
  • Fluency in English language required.
  • German language desirable.
  • Knowledge of LH organization and ability to represent LH to outside contacts desirable.
  • Proficient in MS Office as a user.
  • Experience with SAP desirable.
