About the position

The Production Planner Ti role is focused on assisting the Master Scheduler in maintaining a valid and realistic Master Production Schedule that supports the Business Unit Sales and customer orders. The position emphasizes effective communication across various departments including Sales, Planning, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure on-time delivery to customers. Key responsibilities include managing process router changes, fixing delivery dates, and modifying Bills of Materials.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Master Scheduler in maintaining and adhering to the Master Schedule.
  • Conduct weekly reviews of the master schedule with Manufacturing and Engineering.
  • Identify areas requiring modification in shipping dates based on process router changes.
  • Ensure changes on process routers are properly entered in Visibility.
  • Amend the Bill of Materials due to changes in process routers.
  • Initiate and maintain requisition of Assembled Wax Patterns to vendors.
  • Work with Expeditors to change routers on the floor.
  • Maintain and update process router lo sheet using Excel Spreadsheet.
  • Communicate issues with Planning, Manufacturing, and Engineering.
  • Represent Planning in meetings regarding process routers.
  • Monitor outside process delivery commitments and establish delivery measurements for vendors.
  • Enter changes in process routers in Visibility for efficiency in span time and cost.

Requirements

  • Associate (two year) degree preferred, but equivalent work experience will be considered.
  • Minimum four years related professional experience, with at least two years in a Planner/Scheduler/Analyst position.
  • Demonstrated good oral and written presentation skills.
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Demonstrated good organizational skills.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Visibility.
  • Positive mental attitude and ability to work well in a team environment.
