About the position

The Production Planner/Scheduler role at Masis Professional Group involves overseeing the preparation of production schedules to meet immediate production requirements. This temporary position is focused on ensuring timely delivery of products while coordinating production scheduling and material flow functions. The role requires effective communication with various stakeholders and participation in enhancing the planning process.

Responsibilities

• Direct efforts towards the effective preparation of production schedules based on immediate production requirements.
• Coordinate production scheduling and material flow functions to ensure timely delivery.
• Maintain accuracy of planning systems and schedules.
• Prepare and issue regular and timely production reports to manufacturing.
• Align production schedules and equipment capacity to maximize efficiency and profitability.
• Identify and reconcile physical and systematic inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain effective and collaborative communication with operations, manufacturing, purchasing, engineering, and other key stakeholders.
• Participate in the development of strategies for enhancing the planning process.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years of production planning and scheduling experience.
• 2-year business degree or equivalent work experience is desirable.
• SAP System knowledge and understanding or similar planning systems.
• Computer proficiency in MS Office.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and mathematical ability.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize multiple tasks, make decisions, and meet daily deadlines.
