Responsibilities
- Collaborating with the Planning, Sales, Maintenance, and Operations teams to develop the Sales & Operations Plan, which encompasses production, shipment, and inventory targets
- Executing the Sales & Operations Plan by creating daily production schedules that optimize customer service and operating efficiency
- Coordinating with Operations to ensure that production constraints are factored into the daily schedules
- Operating as a liaison between the Operations, Sales, and Planning teams to resolve scheduling challenges
- Analyzing inventory levels to determine optimal product mix to maximize shipments and maintain inventory design
- Providing accurate estimated completion dates to Sales in order to update customers on their order's status
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years' experience
- Effective analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Excel and other Microsoft products
Nice-to-haves
- Production scheduling experience or experience in manufacturing, metals preferred
- Familiar with CSP processing of product
