About the position

As a Production Planner at our leading global supplier, you will play a crucial role in managing all aspects of planning, scheduling, and coordination of assembly orders. This position is vital to ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to our reputation for high performance, innovation, quality, and reliability that we have built over the past century. You will be responsible for overseeing a high volume of production orders from start to finish, ensuring that each order is processed accurately and in a timely manner. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include processing and confirming orders using SAP, which is essential for maintaining accurate records and ensuring that production schedules are met. You will also be tasked with communicating effectively with various teams regarding scheduling, assembly, testing, and final inspection of products. This role requires a strong understanding of Bills of Materials (BOMs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs), as you will need to review inventory levels and release orders based on stock arrivals. In addition to these responsibilities, you will manage key deliverables for medium to large orders, which will involve project management skills to ensure that all aspects of the production process are executed flawlessly. You will also have the opportunity to implement process improvements, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our production planning operations. Responsibilities

  • Manage a high-volume of production orders end to end.
  • Process and confirm orders using SAP.

Requirements

  • BS in business, technology or related field; or 2 to 4 years customer service experience.
  • Project management skills.
