About the position

The Production Press Operator at EGI, an XMEK company, is responsible for the efficient operation of die cutting presses and ensuring high-quality output. This role involves visual inspection of products during the production process and contributing to safety and quality control measures. The operator will also assist in inventory management and suggest improvements to processes and products.

Responsibilities

• Maintain 100% commitment to safety policies and procedures.
• Operate die cutting presses and perform visual in-process inspection of output.
• Make recommendations to management regarding product and process improvements.
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Maintain expected business level of quality control on all items produced.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow written and directed work instructions.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to interact with supervisors and team members in a professional manner.
• Physical ability to pull, push, grasp, bend, lift, and carry up to 50lbs regularly.
