About the position

The Production Process Branch Manager will oversee the Production Resources Process Division at Pearl Harbor Naval Base, ensuring the effective execution of production programs and projects. This role involves managing production operations, analyzing program effectiveness, and providing technical guidance to resolve production-related issues. The manager will also be responsible for delivering presentations to various stakeholders and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver briefings and presentations to Project Managers and Command leadership.
• Communicate with personnel inside and outside of the department.
• Execute production program requirements and ensure timely execution within program objectives.
• Establish new techniques and criteria for production operations.
• Manage and execute projects requiring analysis of production program effectiveness and efficiency.
• Review and analyze assigned programs and project plans for operational feasibility and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare comprehensive analysis reports covering studies and investigations, including recommendations for improvement.
• Ensure production program requirements are met for effective planning and execution of shipyard projects.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to resolve production program problems.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
• Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
• Must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
• Must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in federal service.
• Specialized experience must demonstrate analyzing and interpreting regulatory requirements and production policies.
